Gadget Reviews – Toshiba has planned to surprise the tablet market by planning to introduce the new Toshiba AT300 sometime next month. The new Toshiba AT300 features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and a 10.1-inch Gorilla Glass LED-backlit display with 1280×800 pixels of maximum resolution.

The machine that is powered with a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 chip is covered with a thin aluminum body. The Toshiba AT300 tablet also has a 5-megapixel camera on the rear side and 2-megapixel front facing camera.

The Toshiba AT300 tablet that is chassed with a slim aluminium body measures at 10.26 x 7.04 x 0.35 and weighs at 590 g. A combo audio in/out port is attached on the Toshiba AT300’s side along with a micro HDMI output and a microUSB port for charging. The Toshiba AT300 tablet satisfies the music lovers by offering a pair of 1W speakers that feature SRS audio. There is pre-installed Toshiba Places for the users to be an alternative store for getting movies, videos, and eBooks. The Toshiba AT300 tablet has a screen that supports impressive 10-finger multitouch.

At the first glance, people will notice that the Toshiba AT300 tablet has a 10.1-inch LED backlit display screen that promises 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and 10 finger multi-touch. The screen is well-protected with a scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass.

Under the hood, the Toshiba AT300 tablet that is housed in a slim aluminium body is powered with a quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor to handle the most performance. The processor is paired with 1000 MB of RAM that is docked on the system memory slot. The Toshiba AT300 tablet provides a 32GB of internal data storage that can be expanded up to 64 GB through the microSD, microSDHC, or microSDXC card.

The 5 megapixels that is fitted on the back side is accompanied with a LED Flash while the Toshiba AT300 tablet has 2 megapixels front-facing camera for video chatting.
