:8: – Toshiba might fail with the predecessor, Toshiba Thrive 10 inches Android tablet. However, Toshiba now has come with the its second 10 inches tablet attempt, the Toshiba Excite X10. Toshiba Excite X10 can be said as the correction to the Toshiba Thrive 10 inches that has many problems. Toshiba Thrive was complained that it was chunkier among the glamorous Android tablets. Toshiba Thrive might have a full HDMI port but it wasn’t exactly slim at 15mm thick.

The new Toshiba Excite X10 has a good performance and the build quality is decent and it’s light. The lightness is resulted from the usage of magnesium and plastic into the casis. Using magnesium might close to the problem that it feels just like plastic and doesn’t have that premium metallic feel and the cool touch of some other metals. Toshiba Excite X10 has an attractive enough brushed metal finish of the back.

Toshiba claimed that Toshiba Excite X10 is the slimmest 10 inches tablet. Toshiba Excite X1 comes with the dimensions’ profile at 7.7mm thick with the preposterously light at 558g. Compared with the iPad 2, Toshiba Excite X10 a full 1.1mm thinner.

Comes along with the very good build quality, Toshiba Excite X10 is fitted with a microSD card slot, a microUSB, a microHDMI socket, and a proprietary docking socket along its edges. Toshiba Excite X10 comes up with the goods of 5 megapixel camera that is fitted on the back. The main camera comes along with an LED flash. For the secondary camera for video chatting, there is 2 megapixel facing camera on the front side.
