The new Sony Vaio S Series S13 has a sleek, high-end look body that is finished in matt brushed-metal effect with a simple and minimal approach in design, resulting a premium look as well. Interestingly, the new Sony Vaio S Series S13 is thinner than the T13 Ultrabook. The entire chassis of the Sony Vaio S Series S13 are made of aluminium and carbon fiber material, gives the device a weight at just 1.59kg.

Take a look at the interior, the Sony Vaio S Series S13 owns a nice keyboard with isolated buttons, equipped with the backlit keyboard. The keyboard keys that rounded with metal chassis around the keyboard are pleasant to type.
To support more connectivity, the new Sony Vaio S Series S13 provides Bluetooth 4.0 connection, two USB 3.0 slots, HDMI out, and a sleep and charge USB 2.0 slot, allows the device to be attached to the smartphones and tablets without turning on the laptop.
The new Sony Vaio S Series S13 handset is implanted with third generation Intel Core i7 processor, paired with 8GB of DDR3L SDRAM. An integrated Intel HD graphics 4000 is docked on the graphics controller slot, accompanies the discrete hybrid NVidia GeForce 640M LE GPU.
Above the keyboard dock, there is a Speed-to-Stamina hybrid graphics switch to shift the usage between the integrated GPU and discrete NVidia GeForce GPU according the need of computing activity. Switching it to the integrated one to get more battery life or switching it to the discrete GPU for optimal performance.
The image reproduction will be delivered onto the13-inch anti-glare screen with its native 1600×900 resolution, results fairly bright and a vivid color. The Vaio Display Premium makes the screen has good viewing angles.
The Sony Vaio S Series S13 in bundled with preinstalled Windows 7 professional 64-bit operating system to serve nice interface to the users. Inside, a 256GB Flash hard drive is implanted on the device for fairly huge data storing.
