Canon has unveiled its second underwater-dedicated compact camera, Canon PowerShot D20, as the next generation of the predecessor the Canon PowerShot D10. Having a 28mm wide lens with 5x optical zoom, a bright 3-inch LCD display plus Full HD movie quality and GPS tagging, the Canon PowerShot D20 that features 12.1MP HS System seems to be the close rival against Fuji XP150 and Panasonic FT4. The 1/2.3 type back-illuminated CMOS sensor is fitted to the Canon PowerShot D20, accompanies the 5.0-25.0mm (35mm equivalent 28-140mm) lens that performs 5x optical zoom totally plus 4x digital zoom. The hardware allow the Canon PowerShot D20 camera to gain effective camera resolution at 12.1 Megapixel, maximum image resolution at 4000 x 3000, and maximum video resolution at 1920 x 1080.
