Gadget Reviews – The Canon PowerShot SX260 HS is the replacement of the previous model, the SX230. Canon ha put more powerful zoom lens into the Canon PowerShot SX260 HS as the very attraction to the Canon camera lovers. On the announcement, the Canon PowerShot SX260 HS brings 12.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor, Full HD movie mode, GPS receiver, and 3-inch LCD. It brings also burst mode performance, Smart Auto mode, and image stabilization system.

The Canon PowerShot SX260 HS is made almost entirely of metal that is pretty solid and compact and easy to hold. With the GPS that is integrated into the body, the Canon PowerShot SX260 HS provides flash, stereo microphones, speaker, and power button on top of the body.

On the back side, the Canon PowerShot SX260 HS owns 3-inch PureColor II TFT LCD display that retains 461,000 pixel resolutions at 4:3 aspect ratio. The images are viewed in good outdoor visibility with enough brightness to see the images in low light situations.

The I/O ports that are protected with a rubber cover are placed on the right side of the Canon PowerShot SX260 HS.

The NB-6L lithium-ion battery is fitted to the Canon PowerShot SX260 HS that powers the camera foe up to 230 shots. The battery life is 10% higher than its predecessor. Simply plug the charger into the power outlet and the battery will be fully recharged under 2 hours.
