From the feedbacks, Sony has realized that most users are demanding a durable device that is water resistance. Answering what the market demand, Sony builds the new Sony Xperia go that meets standard IP ratings, offering a smartphone that has a protection against water immersion.

The mineral glass display that is scratch resistant will be the Sony’s consideration to develop the new Sony Xperia go. Along with its super-fast performance, the Sony Xperia go is made for extra durability but delivering razor sharp quality image on the screen.

The Sony Xperia go measures at 4.4 x 2.4 x 0.4 inches in its dimensions and weighs at just 110 g.

The coming soon Sony Xperia go will own a 3.5 inch scratch-resistant TFT touchscreen that is powered with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, promises razor sharp clarity in its 480 x 320 pixels of image resolution. The screen that features Reality Display offers a rich 16 million colors.

Under the hood, the Sony Xperia go sports a 1 GHz NovaThor U8500 Dual-core Cortex A9 to give super-fast performance. Running on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, the Sony Xperia go will be ready to be upgraded to the latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) manually after the full payment.

The Sony Xperia go will be available in three choices of color: black, white and yellow. The new device provides 8GB internal phone storage with 4GB user-accessible memory. With adding a microSD card, the internal storage can be expanded up to 32GB while the running applications will be backed up by 512 MB of RAM.

The 5 megapixel camera with auto focus is docked onto the rear side along with LED flash support to perform a maximum 16x digital zoom and HD (720p) video recording.

In the term of the battery life, Sony hasn’t announced how long the battery can power the device in a single charge.
