Gadget Reviews – Nokia has announced the Nokia Lumia 610, one of the most affordable handset by Nokia that runs on Windows Phone operating system. The Nokia Lumia 610 that came to Asia on April 2012 features a quite fast 800MHz processor to accompany the only 256MB of RAM.
The Nokia Lumia 610 is bundled with Internet Explorer 9 on sale that promises fast mobile browsing while streaming YouTube video will be fast and smooth too. For the search engine, the Nokia Lumia 610 provides Bing to search anything online.

The Nokia Lumia 610 that features power save mode and ambient light sensor for energy efficiency has dimensions at 119.24 x 62.18 x 11.95 mm and weighs at only 131.5 g. The Nokia Lumia 610 is built in free of PVC and free of antimony trioxide materials. It has a sleek body and being offered in four choices of colors: black, cyan, magenta and white.
The Nokia Lumia 610 handset features a 3.7” WVGA LCD capacitive touch screen with pinch zoom that support 800 x 480 pixels of image resolution. To accompany the 800MHz processor, the small size 256 MB of RAM is fitted to the Nokia Lumia 610’s system memory’s slot. For data storing, Nokia Lumia 610 provides 8 GB of internal memory with no support of microSD slot to expand the storage after the full payment. However, Nokia promises Skydrive storage to be available for optional data storing. The old Bluetooth wireless technology 2.1 + EDR is fitted also to the Nokia Lumia 610 handset.
On the rear side, the Nokia Lumia 610 offers 5 MP camera with auto focus and LED flash and features a dedicated camera key. The camera can be used for taking videos with 640 x 480 pixels of video resolution and performs video frame rate at 30 frames per second. The video will be saved in MPEG-4 format.
To support its portability, the Nokia Lumia 610 that runs on features a 1300 mAh Li-ion/Li-polymer Nokia Battery BP-3L that Nokia has promised having up to 12.5 hours of maximum talk time and up to 740 hours of maximum standby time if the phone runs on GSM SIM card. For the video playback support, the battery has 35 hours of playback time capability.
